02.
Sharon provides one-on-one help to navigate any struggles or questions that might arise as parents are using the suggested resources, and will provide support, encouragement, accountability, and structure.
03.
Sharon will reinforce with you new terms and language that parents can use that will help to clarify what ADHD is and is not. This new language can be used at special education meetings, with other professionals and with family and friends to help you to better know and explain ADHD as an executive function developmental delay.

Sharon relates to spending many years and dollars on different family therapies and treatments, just for them to fail to address executive functioning challenges. Having children and family members with ADHD can be very hard. Sharon offers 15 years of personal experience with her own ADHD children and partner. She relates to the difficulty of being unintentionally misguided by clinicians and educators, and how scary and debilitating it can feel, for example, to have a child or teen overtake the household, for it to feel unsafe, for them to struggle in school and with friendships. She relates to the loneliness, isolation, and shame that can happen when you don’t feel you can share your journey with family members, friends, and your community.
05.
Sharon can lift a little bit of the burden off of families by helping with direct administrative tasks like calls or emails to schools, service providers, clinicians, and programs in order to support families. Together, if needed, Sharon and the client can go over timelines, deadlines, organization, and brainstorming.
